A veteran, son, brother, a husband, father, a grand father, great grandfather and a daughter, sister, mother, a grandmother, great grandmother. These two people carry some very important names, with good reason, because they are very important people. They met, fell in love, raised four children, have six grandkids, and two great grandkids. They have worried, cared, laughed, and cried all together. They have seen each other through sickness, disappointment, heartache and have been there for one another for every birthday, anniversary, and special occasion. With a marriage spanning more than fifty years, they still give secret smiles, stop for quick hugs, share laughs, love their family, spoil their grandkids, go to church every Sunday, give advice, tell their stories, and love each other more now than when they started out so long ago. These two are more special than they know and loved more than they realize.
I am so thankful that I got the chance to capture just a small piece of them to share!

Knowing your grandparents personally, these images convey perfectly their loving and strong relationship. When you were in surgery during your c-section with Noah, I was 2 weeks away from being married and Dolly took that opportunity to give me some wonderful advice...she said "It's not easy, and it doesn't get easier with each year, but you make it what it is" :-) You are blessed to have such wonderful people in your life!
Awwww!!! I truly love your grandparents!!!! You got some really great shots of them! I am sure you and your family will always cherish these photos!
