What a beautiful and fun family!

I had to post just a few from our session Sunday, because I know that they are dying to see something! I hope that you like them so far Stacey and I can't wait for you to see the rest!! I will have your big post ready probably tomorrow, so make sure to check back to get a glimpse of more.

New people

New people I love new people, especially when they belong to Aaron. See Aaron is very special to me. Although I have a brother, I am not close to him (I chose not to be). I love having a brother in my life that makes me laugh, makes me happy, and truly gives me that feeling of sibling love. I want nothing more for Aaron than for him to be happy. He deserves to be happy, he deserves someone that will love him, laugh with him, and be there no matter what at the end of the day. This is where dear Teresa comes in. It only takes about five minuets in her presences to realize how great she is. Her smile is truly contagious. No matter when you catch her she is upbeat and happy. I don’t really know if this is normal for her or if it being with someone you love. Whatever the reason it looks good on her and in turn it suits Aaron. The other really great thing that comes with Teresa is this is my one and only shot at having a sister. Yep I’m greedy that way, I love having a brother but I really want a sister. With Teresa, I see great possibilities. I can see us becoming great friends and in the end sisters. I love the thought of having another female around, frankly all the males plus the momma that raised them as momma’s boys is a tad over whelming. I look forward to sharing our little family with her and getting to know her. She has already scored brownie points, look how happy she makes Aaron!!!

Josh & Haven (Rome Portrait Photography)

I was really excited to get the e-mail from Haven wanting to know when I could take her and Josh’s pictures. You may remember Haven’s beautiful face; she is one of my favorite models. So needless to say I was really looking forward to getting her in front of my camera again. I knew from the moment I pulled up to meet her and Josh, that Josh was not the lest bit happy to be there. He, like most guys was doing this for their dear loved one and that was the only reason. I promised him from the get go that if he just smiled when I asked him to and followed Haven’s lead it would all be over soon. I would try my best to make it as painless as possible. Haven and I actually got a few good laughs at his expense (sorry Josh). There were several times he looked as though he wished someone would put him out of his misery, but he survived. We had a nice session and got some really cute shots.

Haven and Josh, thanks so much for asking me to capture the two of you together. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I look forward to seeing you BOTH again soon!!

Sweet Family

This was my first time with the sweet and funny family. They were so great to work with. I love that you could just catch them laughing, hugging, and having fun together even when the camera wasn’t pointed at them. What a great way to spend a beautiful fall day!

Thank you all so much for spending an afternoon with me and my camera. I hope you like the shots we got as much as I do. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

The Chatman Family

There isn't anything I like more than a family willing to roll around in the leaves! I got to spend a whole morning with this beautiful family and we had so much fun enjoying to fall weather. What is better to a kid than playing in a huge leaf pile? These little ones were so dang cute doing it! Tonya and Jeffery have such wonderful hearts and are raising such amazing kids. Just being in their presences you can feel how much they all love one another and how much fun they have together as a family.

Thank you so much Tonya and Jeffery for letting me in to your world for a morning, it was so much fun! You have such beautiful, funny, amazing little one!




















I had to say something about this picture. When I first downloaded it, the phrase "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" came to mind. Even the light hitting her face makes it seem as though she is looking into a mirror and that little hand fixing her hair, its just to cute! :)
