One Special Cousin

When I get an e-mail or call from one of my beautiful cousins to take pictures of them I jump at the chance. They are all such beautiful young women who are finding their paths in the big wide world. I love being able to capture them through the various stages in their journeys. Each one is different, unique and did I mention beautiful. The e-mail came this time from the baby of us all Tiffany. She is special, because she is the baby and well she is just special. Her life is just beginning and I see such great things when I look into those eyes. Her heart though it has been put to the test is still full of love and hope. I was so thankful for the opportunity to snap a few pictures of her, but mostly just to be able to spend an afternoon with her. I will not over load this post with a lot of pictures, just a few of my favorites.

Wild Wedding

I love fun and unique people, actually the more different the better. They always seem to be the people having the best time. Let me also tell you that I love beautiful/handsome people, they make for such great pictures. Thanks to my dear friend April I got to tag along to another wedding and it had more than its fair share of gorgeous and unique people. I had always thought that weddings were supposed to be hectic and nerve racking, mine was and every one I have attended since was. Not this one. With this one it was just a nice day with a bunch of very close friends hanging out. Minus the wedding attire you would have thought it was just a normal Saturday night with all of them hanging out and catching up. I will have to admit I was a little shocked when I got to the grooms room and found tattoos, strange earrings, and the cutest kid ever with a Mohawk (who doesn’t like a cute Mohawk?!?!?) I was thrilled; remember I love different and handsome! This was the best group of groomsmen. They had great senses of humor, willing to do what ever, all such cuties and didn’t complain about having my camera shoved in their faces. I even managed to make them laugh once or twice. So, to Chris, Dylan, Russ, and Dad (I have no idea what Chris’s dads name was, I just called him Dad the whole time….sorry) thanks for letting me spend an afternoon hanging out with you all. Chris and Teila thank you so much for including April and I in your day, it was beautiful and fun. I wish the two of you lots of happiness, love and laughter. Hang on to the friends you have they are all such special people, beautiful inside and out. Now you all need to go over and check out April’s blog where you can get the really beautiful and wonderful wedding shots from the big day! To April, thank you so much for letting me tag along, not only did I get to take lots of great pictures I got to spend a much needed afternoon with my best bud!

See how cool they were!

Told y'all he was the cutest kid ever with a Mohawk

Gotta love the shoes man

Brian & Bethany are engaged

Two of my old high school buddies are tying the knot and I had the pleasure of taking their engagement pictures. I am so happy for them and was really looking forward to spending an afternoon basking in their lovely dovey glow. It warms my heart when two people find that special someone that fits them to a T and truly makes them happy. Brian and Bethany have come full circle, found each other and are so in love. When you watch them together you know that they will have a life full of laughs, happiness, and most of all love.
We started our day at the beautiful Eurharlee Park and they were truly such good sports about being drug all over the place in the heat. They both were willing to do what ever was asked of them and laughed while doing it. Sadly our fun day ended on a rather bad note. The plan was to save the creek for the end. Since it was so hot and the creek was right there I thought some shots of them playing in the water was a great idea. Again they were such troopers as they both climbed down an embankment to get to just the right spot. I was on my way down when I heard the splash and looked up to see Bethany on her knees in the water and Brian right by her side. I knew by the look on his face it was not good. Long story short my dear bride has a broke wrist and is sporting a very cute pink cast. Fortunately it will be off before the big day. Needless to say I will not be asking anyone to play in any creeks any time soon.
Brian and Bethany thank you so much for spending the day with me and my camera. I can’t wait for you to see all that we got. I hope you like them as much as I do. Also wishing you a speedy recovery!
Yes, I know that some are repeats, but I just really liked them and had to throw them in one more time and I just had to include one of Bethany actually in the creek!!
